The problems of organizing the fight against mobile fraud in Russia are being considered. The reasons for the increase in the number of these crimes are studied, statistical data are analyzed, the features of the organization and implementation of mobile fraud using «social engineering» are analyzed. Legislative innovations and possible problems in the implementation of the provisions of Federal Law № 369 of July 7, 2023, the prospects of its use in terms of improving the security system of customer deposits are considered.
