Three main types of currents on human nature and on the process of becoming a person’s personality are considered: sociodynamic outlook; psychodynamic outlook; humanistic outlook. A number of features of the humanistic orientation in education are described, which should be taken into account in the educational process. A number of innovative areas of pedagogical practice and theory are indicated. The person-centered approach to learning is seen as a prime example of a humanistic outlook. The organization of training based on the personality-centered approach is described.
