The influence of modem regulations governing the creation of trade unions of police officers is analyzed. The possibilities of developing the trade union movement in internal affairs bodies are considered. The author’s thoughts are expressed about the essence, role, place, types and forms of public associations studying in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. A number of proposals are made on the issues of the activities of the council of students in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
