Construction of an algorithm for the formation of a motor image when practicing attacking and defensive actions in forceful counteraction with an offender armed with a cold weapon (knife), while overcoming various obstacles of a psychophysical orientation to form a stable state with stress in various situations. The article presents the results of pedagogical research. The proposed methodology for improving special physical training is based on the reorganization of the structure of training sessions. The purpose of this work is to increase the psychophysical stability of law enforcement officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the process of performing combat techniques of self-defense against offenders using edged weapons (knives). Because of the pedagogical experiment, a positive result was achieved by modeling situations as close as possible to real ones in a variety of conditions.
