The introduction of provisions on option contracts in the Civil Code of the Russian Federation is, of course, a favorable event for the implementation of contractual activity within the framework of family entrepreneurship. Option contracts can be successfully used for almost all types of business obligations by family members in all areas of economic turnover. The presented article reveals the essential features of the legal nature of option constructions in the system of civil law contracts, and formulates conclusions and proposals aimed at individual changes in civil legislation.
