Abstract:
The scientific article is devoted to the study of the modern format of economic crime as an object of statistical research. The paper analyzes the main trends, methods of statistical assessment and accounting of crimes of this category. Special attention is paid to problematic aspects of the stages of statistical research: observation and collection, processing and interpretation of statistical data, as well as the possibility of using statistical methods to predict economic crime.
