The current challenges of ensuring economic security in non-ferrous metallurgy enterprises amid increasing environmental uncertainty are examined. The unprecedented challenges facing this key sector of the global economy, which supplies raw materials to industry, energy, and high-technology sectors, necessitate changes in approaches to economic security and the development of modern instruments. Based on the analysis of industry's economic security threats the author proposes practical recommendations for establishing an economic security management system that takes into account industry-specific characteristics.
