The theoretical basis for improving the organization of situational centers in the system of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia is considered. The analysis of scientific literature on the subject has been carried out. It is determined that the situation center can be considered the main tool to support management activities in terms of frequency of use, which combines all available information and analytical systems and allows to maximize the use of their capabilities to achieve the set tasks. The main tasks, functions and principles of the monitoring center, situational and analytical centers are identified. Solutions concerning the improvement of approaches to the creation of projection technologies used in the work of situation centers are formed.
