Abstract:
The most commonly used methods of document imaging are analyzed. An assessment of the influence of the conditions for obtaining images using a scanner, camera, smartphone on the reproduction of signs of the objects under study (records, signatures, seal impressions, etc.) is given. The analysis of the capabilities of some smartphone applications for correcting geometric distortions and equalizing the illumination of an object is given. The comparison of the images obtained with their help is carried out. Recommendations for obtaining images of the required quality are formulated.
