Abstract:
A handwriting study of signatures made on behalf of fictitious persons and the preparation of comparative material was carried out. The quantitative and qualitative criteria used by handwriting experts in the selection of comparative samples of signature and handwriting are considered. In expert practice, it is often necessary to conduct handwriting examinations, where the objects are signatures made on behalf of non-existent persons. The solution of this issue is possible with careful preparation of comparative material. The provision of comparable comparative material sufficient in volume and quality is one of the fundamental conditions for the most accurate and complete solution of the issue on the merits.
