Based on the analysis of the legal literature and legislation on the interdependence of law and religion in the regulation of public relations in the Russian Federation, the article substantiates several judgments: The diversity of public relations presupposes the search for their regulators; the Constitution of the Russian Federation of December 12, 1993, even with subsequent amendments and additions, presupposes the use of law as the leading regulator of public relations; currently, in addition to law, politics and religion are used as regulators of public relations in the Russian Federation.
