Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The preventive component should be an integral part of forensic expertise, since it can affect the reduction of the number and, to a certain extent, the quality of criminal activity and offenses in general. The theoretical basis of the preventive activities of forensic experts was laid in criminalistic science, but to a greater extent it was developed in line with forensic expertise. Forensic expertise as the science of using special knowledge in legal proceedings performs a number of functions, among which methodological, informational, explanatory, synthesizing, heuristic and practical functions stand out. One of the most significant functions is prognostic, which finds its expression primarily in developments related to the theory of expert prevention. It is important to follow the development of the theory of expert prevention, take into account previous developments and strengthen them in order to fulfill the tasks of expert prevention. In addition, there is a need to identify problems of practical forensic prevention, formulate recommendations for their minimization and elimination. The described aspects are considered in the presented article.
