The article is devoted to the study of psychological and pedagogical aspects of the formation of ideological beliefs among cadets of educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. The article considers the essence of ideological beliefs as a system of values that determine the professional identity and behavior of law enforcement officers. The methods and techniques of their formation are analyzed, including interactive approaches, professionally oriented tasks, the role of the teacher and digital technologies. Based on an interdisciplinary approach, recommendations for university teachers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are proposed, aimed at improving the effectiveness of the formation of ideological beliefs among cadets.
