Abstract:
The system of other measures of a criminal law nature requires improvement and reform in the context of the modern transformation of society. Security measures applied in the countries of the Anglo-Saxon legal system are considered. As a positive experience and further implementation in Russian legislation, it should be noted: compulsory treatment of persons suffering from alcoholism and drug addiction, as well as the use of castration when committing a crime against the sexual inviolability of a minor or sexual crimes in case of relapse.
