Abstract:
The conceptual foundations of legal policy, constitutional principles of public power and their influence on the formation of public administration mechanisms are analyzed. The historical stages of the development of administrative coercion, its types and modern role in ensuring the rule of law, law and order and public interests are revealed. The "new sound" of administrative coercion as an indicator of the maturity of the rule of law and the effectiveness of legal policy is expressed in the strengthening of procedural regulation, the priority of preventive measures and the consolidation of the principle of proportionality.
