The article explores the phenomenon of clip-based thinking and its impact on the process of information acquisition. It analyzes the causes and consequences of clip-based thinking, as well as its influence on the effectiveness of information acquisition. Based on the results of a survey and an experiment conducted among university students, the article provides recommendations for optimizing the learning process in the context of clip-based thinking. Special attention is given to adapting educational methods to the specific characteristics of information perception by the modern generation that has grown up in a digital environment. The article also discusses methods for developing critical thinking and increasing attention span in the face of information overload.
