The psychological aspects of maintaining attention among cadets of educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation are investigated. The psychophysical nature of attention is considered as a key factor in learning effectiveness. Methods and techniques for attracting and maintaining attention are analyzed, including interactive approaches, the use of digital technologies and the role of the teacher. Based on an interdisciplinary approach, recommendations were proposed to increase the concentration of cadets in the training process.
