The article reflects the results of theoretical generalization and empirical research of the specifics of the relationships between the indicators of the regulatory component of the structure of professional self-awareness of cadets. The relevance of the study lies in the fact that works related to the study of subjects of official activity and the development of their professional self-awareness are becoming increasingly important. The article presents a set of psychodiagnostics tools selected for the study of the indicators of the regulatory component of the structure of professional self-awareness, a correlation has been established between such indicators as cognitive, affective self-control and self-control, development of will and volitional activity, etc. The presented theoretical and empirical materials are related to the need for further development and implementation of a program for studying the dynamic nature of professional self-awareness and systematization of the component composition of the structure of the phenomenon under study. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study was provided by the works of scientists: V. V. Stolin, A. I. Smolyar, T. L. Mironova, E. Yu. Pryazhnikova, V. D. Shadrikov, E. Yu. Mandrikova, A. A. Zolotareva, K. V. Karpinsky, V. S. Agapov and others. Important results of the study include those that demonstrate the identified correlations between individual indicators within a specific component of the structure according to the author's research program of the phenomenon under study; the developed abilities and gaps in the development of cadets' professional self-awareness. The results of this study are discussed in order to clarify the content of the program being developed for the development of professional self-awareness of cadets.
