The article examines the pedagogical culture of an officer as an essential component of his professional activity in the current conditions of service. The essence and structure of pedagogical culture, which determines the effectiveness of training, education, and the moral and psychological state of personnel, are revealed. The main problems of the formation of pedagogical culture are analyzed. The gap between the requirements of military practice and traditional pedagogical approaches is substantiated. The main directions of improving the pedagogical culture of officers, focused on integrating pedagogical training, developing motivation, introducing innovative technologies, and organizing methodological support, are proposed.
