Russian Federation
This article examines the historical and legal aspects of the adoption of the Constitution of the Russian Federation. Studying the Constitution of the Russian Federation is of both empirical and theoretical interest, and addressing these issues has significant public and legal significance. The Constitution marked the beginning of a new era in Russian. The authors conclude that an analysis of the constitutional process in Russia (1990-1993) clearly demonstrates the colossal experience of creating and adopting a «workable Constitution» amidst intense political confrontation, the collapse of the USSR, and the emergence of a new Russian state.
