The characteristics of the requirements imposed on entities engaged in activities related to the operation of cargo vehicles are presented. The urgency and necessity of digitalization of the requirements under consideration are emphasized; the narrow focus of existing approaches to digitalization of requirements in the context of the system of organization and implementation of cargo transportation by road is noted. More advanced digitalization mechanisms are proposed.
