Abstract:
The professional competencies of police officers acquired as a result of completing the initial training course must fully meet the requirements for professional activities in the position of a police officer, especially in terms of the practical application of measures of physical coercion against an offender and ensuring personal safety in an official environment. activities, including the use of special active defense means. The training system for the thematic section should include a set of classes for its targeted implementation. Due to the transience of the training course, the classical scheme for constructing the educational process seems to be less effective in comparison with the increasingly popular modular system. A series of training sessions combined into a thematic module has significant potential for the productivity of developing practical competencies and, using the example of a module teaching how to use a special stick, can be introduced into the educational process.
